Intermediate Roadway Corridors in Civil 3D (201)

In this course, you will learn how to model several typical intermediate roadway designs including cul-de-sacs, intersections, and four-lane corridors. We will review the assembles needed and other pertinent data to model the designs. Please note that this session will not cover assemblies and subassemblies in great detail. We will also review and discuss the targeting options for the different corridor models. Finally, we will create surface models from the corridor data and discuss the data options when building the surface in Civil 3D.

On completion of Intermediate Roadway Corridors in Civil 3D, users will be able to do the following:

– Model a typical Cul-De-Sac and assemble the required data including assemblies/subassemblies, alignments, and profiles
Model corridors using an Assembly Offset and conditional subassemblies
– Model a 4-lane road with a median and intersection
– Create corridor surface(s) for future pipe designs, cross-sections, and earthwork quantities
